As reported in the RT news video below, secessionist sentiments are strong in several areas of Western Europe. This video highlights those in Scotland, Catalonia and Venice, only briefly mentioning the strong movements in Flanders and the Basque Country where in both cases secessionist parties recently won at the polls. The report also stresses the point that only the Scots have thus far won the right to choose whether they wish to remain as they are now or become independent. The other peoples mentioned above are essentially in the same position as Southerners are in relation to the United States – the unalienable right (as described by Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence) of self-determination is not recognised and the central regime has demonstrated that it would prefer to kill Southerners rather than allow them to be independent.
