CP, I once (back in my college undergrad years) thought of myself as a conservative too. But there’s really nothing I want to conserve about this system.

I’ve always considered myself a conservative with nothing in common with the Neo-cons (or as I call them, Neo-coms) or those who consider themselves American conservatives. What you described in your speed I identify with, and therefore will drop the “conservative” moniker altogether.
