I remember when we had Western Day in school. Not that it mattered, because we wore our cowboy and Confederate gear to school every day. That was back in the 80's, though, when Yankeeland was still a long way from North Texas. Nnone of us had hearp of "Political Correctness". I later found out that it had its origins in the Chinese Cultural Revolution of the 70's. Thus was confirmed my suspicion that Yankees were Communists and that the WSI was the first war against Communism. Lincoln's "Revolution", was America's Communist revolt.

This comes down to basic right of association and voluntarily placing your children in the hands of the government. Parents always have choices and I am tired of them being upset and whining every time the government school doesn't do something they like. If the actions of the government school are so unacceptable, remove your child from them. There is not a current law requiring anyone to only place their children in government schools, there are still alternatives.

Yes, government schools are grounds for social engineering... it has always been the case. Nowadays, groups wishing to alter the perspectives of children at government schools just make no effort to hide what they are doing.

So now we have a new meme: disagree with anything the "establishment" condones and you are a hater.

Lovely.

If I was in school today I would have been expelled in Kindergarden. Oh that's right, I almost was over 50 years ago, because a little boy kept calling me names and I stuck up for myself. Shoulda seen the handwriting on the wall.
