Earlier this month, Noel at Blood and Soul, a new Southern nationalist website, wrote an article entitled ‘The Outlaw Josey Wales & the Republican Convention.’ He then appeared on the SNN podcast to discuss the article. Across Our Confederation, another pro-Southern website, has now posted a response to that original article which takes some different views on the Josey Wales film as well as Clint Eastwood’s rather strange performance at the recent Republican convention in Tampa. The article stresses the fact that the Wales character was actually based on the real life of a Southern man. It also makes the point that different regions of the South had different motivations to resist the Union.

I should look it up, but seems like Clint states at the end of his film it was based on a novel called, ” Gone to Texas. ” The original article obviously wasn’t discussing the historical accuracy of the film but the half hearted silliness of Eastwood’s speech to empty chair in support of a party that debates empty chairs daily on talk radio and fox news. I also noticed that the response to the article said that, ” The country ” is at stake and Romney was better than Obama. I don’t care for either, but if I had to compare the two there is one fact that makes me think Obama is actually better than Romney if preserving the American empire is your goal and that is…he has no plans to go to war with Iran and Romney and the Republicans can’t wait to. A war with Iran will tank what is left of the economy, cause thousands more needless deaths to benefit foreign nations and profit instead of protecting Americans and could very well start WWIII. I can’t see a single good thing that would come out of. Other than that…there is barely a flea’s hair bit of difference between the candidates.
