Racism, racism everywhere

In case you needed it, here is one more example of why it’s wise to avoid the public school system if at all possible. The story comes from the Portland Tribune and was written by Jennifer Anderson. It’s called ‘Schools beat the drum for equality.’ A more accurate title would be ‘Schools promote anti-White agenda.’ It’s the story of Mexican principal Verenice Gutierrez, her promotion of White guilt (so-called ‘equity training’) and her efforts to cater to non-White students. The article begins by noting that Gutierrez sees ‘racism’ everywhere. Naturally. Even the use of a peanut butter sandwich in class as an example is ‘racist’ because somewhere in the world there might be a culture where the people do not eat sandwiches. This is amazing logic, to be sure. The most disturbing part of this story is not that the White middle and upper class taxpayers of the State are paying Gutierrez’s salary, but rather that they are paying to have White school teachers indoctrinated in self-hatred and White guilt. Anderson writes:

Scott School’s Anti-White Principal Verenice Gutierrez

Through intensive staff trainings, frequent staff meetings, classroom observations and other initiatives, the premise is that if educators can understand their own “white privilege,” then they can change their teaching practices to boost minority students’ performance.

Last Wednesday, the first day of the school year for staff, for example, the first item of business for teachers at Scott School was to have a Courageous Conversation — to examine a news article and discuss the “white privilege” it conveys.

In addition to the anti-White indoctrination, the school also runs a drum class for non-White male students. The story specifically says it is for ‘middle school boys of color at Scott School.’

Unsurprisingly, a majority of the school’s students are foreigners and the vast majority of them are dependent upon the mostly-White taxpayers of the State:

Fifty percent of the students at Scott are Hispanic; another 15 percent are black and 9 percent are Asian. Eighty-five percent are eligible for free or reduced-price meals.

Let’s attempt for a brief moment to understand the strange thought process behind what Guitierrez says and does at Scott School. Even though White taxpayers (78.5% of the people of Oregon are White and the percentage of net taxpayers is undoubtedly much higher still) are paying to operate a school that is administered by a Mexican with an obvious racial chip on her shoulder against White people; even though White taxpayers are paying so that non-White boys can play the drums; even though White tax payers are paying for anti-White indoctrination of White teachers who are attempting to teach a school full of non-White students… there is still ‘racism’ everywhere – even in peanut butter sandwiches. As Bob Whitaker says, ‘They say they are anti-racist. What they are is anti-White. Anti-racist is a code word for anti-White.’ If you don’t believe it, just take a look at Verenice Gutierrez and the Scott School in Portland.

Would it still be ‘racist’ if the PBJ were made with pumpernickel instead of white bread?

Probably so, Harold, because some Amazonian culture probably has never heard of pumpernickel.

    Different countries, same problems!

“When white people do it, it is not a problem, but if it’s for kids of color, then it’s a problem?” says Gutierrez, 40, an El Paso, Texas, native whose parents were Mexican immigrants. “Break it down for me. That’s your white privilege, and your whiteness.”

This was made in reference to the drum class for “boys of color”. What in the world is she even talking about? There hasn’t been a government sponsored “Whites only” ANYTHING since the 1960s.

It’s so wonderful to live in these “post racial” times, ain’t it?

Yes, indeed, Quebecindependant. Sadly, this is going on around pretty much the entire Western world.

She doesn’t look mestizo to me….so that means she’s a European (read: white) Mexican….and a hypocrite looking to stir sh*t up.

This is really starting to piss me off.

I know I should refrain from such language but the first thing I noticed was the picture of her and I just have to put it out there. She looks like a blatant retard before you even read about her ideas and actions. Good god, please tell me that thing never finds someone to successfully breed with!

    Edited to remove profanity. -SNN

This kind of reminds me of the “womens studies” advocates who keep trying to find “patriarchic” messages in foods.

They are birds of a feather, Joe Reb.

Thanks goodness this isn’t tolerated in the schools in which I work.

I think a lot of this stuff is seen more on the Left Coast or East Coast, but sadly, maybe it’s showing up in your neighborhoods or your area, I don’t know.

Fortunately, where I live, it’s still fairly “conservative” and our administrators, teachers, and community wouldn’t tolerate this stuff.

We do promote “treating others the way you want to be treated” along with teaching the core subjects. Heck, though, that’s what you would try to teach your own children at home too isn’t it? We just try to reinforce at school what you would teach at home.

I think that what is lacking today is respect for human life, decency, dignity, and using good old fashion “horse sense”. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, well, your probably either too far to the the right or left like this poor old soul pictured above….

Be a positive influence in your communities and let them see your good!

    Do what is right!
