Of course he would. It is not in the best interest of the military to support action of this kind. Especially if he wants some political consideration after he retires. But then again he could change his mind should political expediency trump military considerations. The JCS is not without it&#039;s own internal politics. Political foreign policy trumps military posturing every time. Jus thinkin.
