Well I do have some tapes and DVDs of decent movies and historical shows…etc. but that’s about the extent of it.
I see no redeeming qualities concerning TV and the movies and music industry. Also include the mainstream media and news in that also. Oh and don’t forget the radio, as I don’t listen to it either, not to any extent.
Why waste your time listening to propaganda? They’re only instilling doubt and lies into your mind, corrupting it.
Gee, I keep thinking of things. I also do not in any way look at sports or keep up with it. It’s totally asinine and is used to distract people from things of much more importance. It’s as if this is all done on purpose.

The purpose of the show is to display these youngish “good ole boys” as simpletons, and thereby associate General Lee’s name and the South in general with simpletons. But the visual metaphor did not work that way, because General Lee’s name became associated with a truly BAD-A$$ Dodge Charger muscle car that often defied gravity. Who could not want a Dodge Charger after seeing that show a few times, even if one could not stomach the caricature of Southerners with Boss Hogg and his complicit deputy. And yes, renaming it to the General Powell would be apropos.
