I remember well the ongoing editorial battle between the Columbus Enquirer (the Ledger was the afternoon paper then) and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.  The Enquirer&#039;s editor called the Atlanta paper &quot;the gold dust twins&quot;, in reference to their encouragement of greed and pursuit of Yankee business.  I was just a young man then, so didn&#039;t read very many of the barbs, but do remember some of it.]]></description>
