I was recently told by someone of American Indian descent to “get up and leave.” Given that Indians were here long before our white ancestors, that may have had some weight behind it, except for the fact that she was/is unabashedly pro-Yankee, which makes her a total hypocrite, since the Yankees have been actively persecuting her people even longer than they have been persecuting ours.

That would have enraged me too, Anti-Federalist. It’s like a Turk in Germany or a Bolivian in Spain or an African in France telling a native that if he doesn’t like the new Germany, new Spain or new France he can leave.

I once had a discussion with an naturalized Indian American. Basically this guy wants this “country” to adopt the European social-welfare state. I told him how I disagreed with this policy and in addition I disagree with all of the Federal government’s policies. He responded to me by saying that if I don’t like the policies of the Federal government I should just “get out and leave.” Here is this foreigner telling me that I have to leave even though my family has roots here that can easily be traced back to pre-Revolutionary War times. I to do a lot to withhold my anger at being told to leave my own land by some outsider. If we weren’t at work (and not at risk of losing my job) I probably would have responded differently.

I love this guy’s self congratulations. He (and many on the left) describe their policies as “smart.”
