I know what you are saying, but as long as organizational “apparatus” (for lack of a better word) exists, it’s possible to regain an organization, imo. There are a lot of organizations and institutions that were taken over, the Ford Foundation, for instance—so even if it were entirely taken over, it could be taken back (of course, one hopes the situation won’t get that dire.)

With more people such as yourself, that organization will have a bright future!

The question for Southern Activism is AGE.

Ezell is about 90 years old (literally). It would be VERY interesting, in fact— to know the average age of members at the moment. BET it is —off top of head— 62.

What S. Activists should be doing is joining by the droves—- because very soon, these people are going to be GONE. the new generation could be positioned to step right in, to a whole organizational apparatus.

Quit bitching, join, position yourself. In –truly— ten years, you could be running it. And then do what you want.

I do not believe that those in the upper echelon of the UDC represent the viewpoint of the regular membership, but certainly they have “come out of the closet” with their politically correct revisionist policies to the extent that the membership can no longer claim ignorance of the leadership’s agenda.

So it boils down to this: do the members of the UDC – aside from the present treasonous “leadership” – BELIEVE in the aims and goals of the organization, or are they playing a game unworthy of those who came before. If they DO believe in the principles of the UDC as stated by those who founded the organization, TIME IS RUNNING OUT for them to take BACK the UDC from its present scalawag “leadership.”
