If there is any single city that best symbolises the so-called ‘New South’ it must surely be Atlanta. The metropolitan area has a population of five and a half million people, making it the ninth largest in the United States. It has the world’s busiest airport. Nearly a tenth of the population speaks Spanish (these being mostly immigrants from Latin America). The metro area has the seventeenth largest economy in the world while nearly a quarter of the city is living at or below the poverty line. Atlanta is also now home to a large number of non-Southern migrants from elsewhere in the United States. In fact, Southern culture has all but been replaced in much of the Atlanta area:

Atlanta’s dialect has traditionally been a variation of Southern American English. The Chattahoochee River long formed a border between the Coastal Southern and Southern Appalachian dialects. However, by 2003, ‘‘Atlanta’’ magazine concluded that Atlanta had become significantly “de-Southernized,” with a Southern accent considered a handicap in some circumstances. In general, Southern accents are less prevalent among residents of the city and inner suburbs and among younger people, while they are more common in the outer suburbs and among older people….
Atlanta, while very much in the South, has a culture that is no longer strictly Southern. This is because in addition to a large population of migrants from other parts of the U.S., many recent immigrants to the U.S. have chosen to make the city their home, making Atlanta one of the most multi-cultural in the nation [sic]. Thus, although traditional Southern culture is part of Atlanta’s cultural fabric, it’s mostly the backdrop to one of the nation’s [sic] leading international cities.
Essentially, an area like Atlanta is ‘New South’ to the extent that Southerners have been pushed aside by non-Southerners. Imagine taking a city like Moscow, making it majority non-Russian by bringing in people from all over the world, replacing the traditional Russian culture of the city, and then called it ‘New Russian.’ Or imagine making Rome majority non-Italian and calling it ‘New Italian.’ When you get right down to it, what is going on in places like Atlanta is a process of ethnic/cultural cleansing. The native population which built the city and gave it its culture is being replaced. And we are told that this is ‘progress’ and that Atlanta is an example of the ‘New South’ which should be replicated throughout Dixie. We should understand that the people who advocate such a thing are advocating the ethnic/cultural cleansing of the Southern people and culture.

Even the small towns are getting pretty bad where I’m at. I’m not sure what the future holds for us. I hate to be mean, but I am kind of hoping for the governtment to collapse leading to some kind of massive die off of people with no survival skills. Most people think food grows from wal-mart shopping aisles. They will be in for a suprise when the shelves are empty and people only share with loved ones. Wishful thinking I suppose…

Please give your readership a list of people or organizations that is on the record as saying this. If we are going to make allegations such as this, I think it wise to be able to point to specific examples in order to make our allegations more credible.
I think that if we can demonstrate that this is a deliberate policy among the “powers that be”, and not the result of other forces that are in play, it would be more convincing. Thanks.

Take a look at the Immigration Act of 1965. Look at Reagan’s amnesty of 3 million Third World aliens. Look at all the other amnesties. Look at the recent Federal court decisions which struck down SC’s anti-illegal immigration laws and parts of AR’s anti-illegal immigration laws.
Then look at all the pro-Atlanta propaganda that emphasises its ‘diversity,’ size and so forth.
I think the agenda is more than clear.
Michael, I believe that you are a dedicated Southern Nationalist but I think you sometimes fail to see the current reality. Metro Atlanta has 5,267,000 people. The entire state of Georgia has 9,815,000 people. That means that metro Atlanta is 53.6% of Georgia’s population. Therefore, don’t count on Georgia ever leaving the Federal union. Similarly, NC has been overrun by Yankees who have migrated to the RTP and Charlotte regions, Virginia has been captured by Yankees who reside in the DC suburbs in northern Virginia. The best hope for preserving Southern culture and having the political climate to withdraw from the Federal union will be for Southerners to migrate to a Southern state that hasn’t been run over by Yankees.

Thankfully I live in a rural part of Georgia that is many hours away from the alien, “proposition nation” megopolis of Atlanta.
One of the reasons I am glad I left the Atlanta area was because I was sick and tired of the “Africanising” of the local media shoving white guilt down my throat, the Yankee style traffic and the entitlement mentality of many of the people in the metro area. I am now in the Tampa, Florida area, and although there are many Yanks, hispanics and blacks here, it’s totally different…I don’t get it…there’s an air of respect amongst the different demographics that used to be in the Atlanta area but has been gone since the end of the 1980′s…I’m rambling..sorry!
White Southron you are not alone in your thinking. This coming from a person who gets her food from Wal Mart but am so sick and tired of the way this country is.
Well, I shop at WalMart sometimes as well much to my displeasure. I hate going to town in general to be honest. I was just making a point that you can’t grow food in concrete. So if you live in a city and manage to survive the violent hordes of thugs you will still need to find food and water from somewhere.
Also I’m not much of a religious person but I find the bible has alot of common sense advice in it.
Micah 4:10-13 for example:

Daughter of Zion,
Like a woman in childbirth;
For now you will go out of the city,
Dwell in the field,
And go to Babylon.
There you will be rescued;
There the LORD will redeem you
From the hand of your enemies.

That seems to sum up the current state of the West pretty good. Our cities/towns are flooded with enemies so congregating to the rural areas would be our best bet.
