The once thriving city of Detroit, Michigan continues to sink further into a Third World abyss. RT America reports on how bad it has gotten in the Motor City… make that the Murder City:
With hundreds of thousands having fled Detroit in the last decade alone, the city is turning into a deserted dumping ground for murder victims. And with its budget choked, the Motor City has had to cut back on its police force to boot.
A report published Thursday by the Associated Press tells of two bodies decomposing in an empty Detroit lot littered with tires and furniture. The teenage boys had been stripped to their underwear, shot, and then left to rot on one of the city’s many abandoned, formerly residential blocks.
They were only the latest in a string of murder victims whose remains lay for days before being discovered. Detroit has become a kind of agglomeration of rural patches contained inside an urban area, where what were once neighborhoods have turned into overgrown fields.
Outsiders – and police – are unlikely to visit the inner wasteland of what some Americans now call the Murder City.
…Tens of thousands of the city’s homes have been falling apart over the years – some collapsing, while others have been demolished.
And now, the deserted parts of town are quickly turning into dumping grounds for bodies – at a rate of about one corpse found every month for the last year. And those are only counting the victims authorities know of.
How did this industrial giant, the Motor City, become the Murder City? RT America explains:
The situation is a result of nearly fifty years of decay, after white residents started making their way to the suburbs in the 1950s. And after a vicious race riot in 1967, their mass relocation picked up in earnest.
Over the next two decades, the city’s black middle class followed, and blocks – sometimes neighborhoods – of empty houses and overgrown lawns are all that remain today.
A DIFFERENT CITY
Essentially, Detroit has been almost entirely repopulated, and quite obviously by people who are unable to maintain the city’s basic infrastructure, much less create any additional wealth. Consider that in 1940, Whites were 90.4% of the population. Detroit was a mostly White, thriving metropolis then. As of 2010, the city was 82.7% Black and only 7.8% White. The White percentage of Detroit had fallen 82.6% in 72 years. In other words, in a single lifetime the city of Detroit had been almost entirely repopulated. Today, Detroit is nearly universally recognised in the United States as a failed city. The only real difference in Detroit and collapsing Johannesburg, South Africa, besides the fact that they sit on different continents, is the vast amount of outside, US taxpayer money pumped into the Murder City that keeps Detroit from totally imploding.

Regarding Johannesburg, SA, a former coworker of mine went there to visit last year. He is German and his wife is a native South African. I asked him to be very careful during his visit because of all of the news articles I have read about the place. He told me that he wasn’t worried at all and that he felt safe. I asked him about what he thought of the news that’s come out of there and he said that it was an exaggeration.

Michael, I have seen the video. My former co-worker insist that he felt absolutely safe. He must have been in a highly affluent area in Johannesburg.
Perhaps so, Anti-Federalist. Here’s a story about White South Africans trying to get out of the country. Apparently nearly a million of them have fled SA since the ANC was handed power in 1994.

I’ll also add that I felt completely safe in the poor, immigrant-heavy barrios of Madrid… right up to the day I was attacked, robbed and nearly killed by a couple of immigrants. After that, I was paranoid for a while. I didn’t feel safe in much of the city after that.
Detroit is to big to fail. The Gubmint needs to take over just like they did with General Motors (GM). Maybe a stimulus package can be worked up to save the city. I know, we’ll send active duty title X soldiers to rid the place of miscreants and then we can open up the city to the illegal aliens to repopulate the place. From there BHO can put everyone on welfare. That way he beat his check like a gorilla and claim victory. victory for what I do not know, but they can spin something out of it to to pull the wool over our eyes (or so they think). Just my thoughts.

My aunts best friend is also from Johannesburg. She left during the early 90s, when according to her, it became unbearable for white people to live there. Said she used to put a gun clearly visible on the car’s dashboard when she was going somewhere. So that “they” would know they’d meet resistance in case of car hijacking.
