Southerners depicted in US cartoons

July 15, 2012
By

A friend and fellow Southern nationalist wanted to share the following video. Check out the social commentary in this cartoon on education. And note the use of the Confederate flag and ‘Dixie’ being played in the background at one point. Also note the usual anti-Southern bias (with Southerners being portrayed as slow and stupid) in US cartoons.

Revolting. I never liked these kind of cartoons as a kid either. Can’t stand 99% of what Joolywood puts out anyway.

I think the Dog is whistling Kingdom Coming / “Year of Jubilo”…which I’m not sure why he’d be whistling, other than out of ignorance. It is a catchy tune though. Perhaps the dog is really supposed to represent a Northern social worker, who believes that the power of Government Education is supposed to reform these kids. We all know that modern day educational standards pretty much gets rid of anything difficult in order to give everyone a chance to succeed – so finger painting is about all that’s left. Either way, it seems to make a pretty good case for home schooling.

Tweety Birds’ “Rebel Without Claws” is a true classic. I kinda liked the door gags though.
