Author and former economics professor Dr Walter E Williams used part of his time substituting on the Rush Limbaugh radio program this week to encourage the States to stand up against unconstitutional laws from DC and support nullification. The Daily Caller quotes Dr Williams as saying:
I think the American citizens ought to press their state governors and legislatures just to nullify the law — just to plain nullify it and say, ‘The citizens of such-and-such-a state don’t have to obey Obamacare because it’s unconstitutional, regardless of what the Supreme Court says.’”
Dr Williams also appeared this past week on the Brian Wilson radio show out of Toledo, Ohio where he was asked by the host about the state of the Union these days. He took the opportunity there again to promote the idea of nullifying Obamacare.

I just tried it and it works for me, SAH.
I heard him that day and I cheered when he said it.
I know Rick Scott of Florida said he won’t do it (pending approval from the GOP legislature, (gasp)), but what about other Southern governors? Do you have any information Michael?
Rick Scott irritates the Yankee transplants here in Florida. I hope he keeps irritating them so they go back where they came from.
I don’t have any info, CP. I don’t closely follow partisan politics these days so I’m a little out of the loop. I will say though that if the popular pressure is strong enough, these politicians can be forced to actually take a stand. I would focus on local and county officials. It would be good to have a city or county nullify Obamacare, the Patriot Act or whatever.
