This afternoon we welcomed back returning guest John to the SNN podcast. John is a liberty activist who keeps the site The Real Liberal. He has appeared on television and the radio to promote Ron Paul. He also has a weekly internet radio show. In this podcast John responds to some points made in Golden Circle 23 about the major ideologies. Specifically, John further distinguishes liberalism from socialism, discussing the socialist calculation problem. Then John and your host Michael talk about different forms of materialism and spiritualism in the two ideologies and contrast this to the worldview of nationalism socialism. Finally, they discuss the individualist vs collectivist perspectives of these ideologies.
