Heroes remembered

As SNN reported back in March 2011, a monument to the ‘Immortal Six Hundred‘ was in the planning stages to be erected at Ft Pulaski, Georgia.  Well I am proud to announce that the monument is finished!  The ground breaking took place in December and the official dedication ceremony shall be held on October 27, 2012.  We at SNN would like to thank the Georgia Sons of Confederate Veterans of Camp 2600 for their efforts and hard work in making this monument a reality.
