Glenn Beck signs $100 million deal with Clear Channel

June 13, 2012
By

Glenn Beck, whose estimated personal wealth is about $80 million, is soon to become even richer. He is reported to have signed a five year deal with one of the biggest media companies in the world for a cool $100 million. Of course, one doesn’t make unimaginable sums of money like this for being anti-Establishment or challenging the basic values and legitimacy of the system. Beck is no doubt seen as a safe alternative to the PC multiculturalist Left. He takes the anger and frustration of his mostly White, middle class audience and directs it where it will be sure not to disrupt the established order and ongoing transformation of the United States into a Third World country. RT America has the story on Beck’s massive new contract:

It was confirmed this week that former Fox News host Glenn Beck has renewed the contract between his Mercury Radio Art’s company and syndicators Premiere Networks Inc., guaranteeing the oh-so outspoken talking head millions of dollars annually to stay on the airwaves. The deal comes only one year after Beck was relieved of his hosting duties on the Fox News Channel, where he had managed to cause an exodus of advertisers and was deemed too radical yet still developed a devout cult following.

…Under the arrangement, Premiere Networks Inc. [a division of Clear Channel] will distribute “The Glenn Beck” program for another half-decade, ensuring continued attention for the radio personality that is currently heard on around 400 stations across the United States. The deal also ensures that a relationship will remain intact between the Clear Channel subsidiary and Beck’s web properties, including his online-only GBTC video network, online portal TheBlaze.com and other Internet entities. Premiere will continue to represent Beck’s online presence for advertisers and sponsors, reports Reuters.

    Good for him.

I do hate the fact that he’s a fan of Lincoln….I mean he does a pretty good job digging up historical facts that disprove the modern re-writes on so many things but he just doesn’t go far enough. I wonder if that’s intentional or if he’s sloppy.

he’s an effective gatekeeper. He says, ‘this is how far controlled opposition can go, and that’s it.” One more step and you are Pat Buchanan. You really have to wonder, though, at the “nobody from nowhere” meme, and how they step in, trusted to make this 180 million bucks. Wonder if there’s some unknown pedigree there, somewhere. Like nobody ever talked about Breitbart’s ACLU ties, via the Orsen Bean family and marriage. Makes you wonder if he was getting some of the info from that avenue, to be sure.

That’s true, Dixiegirl. He is certainly an effective gatekeeper.

Really? An effective gate keeper? I disagree. he is a self absorbed wanna be know it all. He stops short of the truth about Lincoln because he has classified Lincoln as a demi-god and he cannot turn back from his classification with out admitting he did not fully investigate ol “Honest Abe” thoroughly. Admmiting that would bring to the forefront a short coming in his selective, self limiting, self administered home school education and he cannot allow that. Anoterh example is his vitriol about slavery and the south and the Confederate Constitution. He “held it in his haands and it was dripping with slavery”. He’s smart, but not that smart.

You’re right SR. Dr. DiLorenzo wrote extensively about that same thing when Beck was still with Fox.

Problem is that he’s not going to go against the Yankee revisionism as that’s his money ticket. If he did, he’d only get money from only one section of the continent….ours.

“Problem is that he’s not going to go against the Yankee revisionism as that’s his money ticket”. Amen CP. You are on point.
